Born in Nuremberg, Karin Kellner graduated in industrial design at Politecnico in Milan. Her first professional experience was related to graphics and decoration for stagings. In 2008 Karin started her career as a freelance illustrator, and in few years she established collaborations with some of the most important magazines and commercial brands as diverse as Monocle, Il Corriere della Sera, ICON and ICON Design, Rolling Stone, Architektur & Wohnen, La Cucina Italiana, Der Feinschmecker, Esquire, Mr. Porter, Rivista Studio, Undici, Marie Claire France, GQ Italy, Discipline, Sperling & Kupfer, DePadova, Giorgetti, Obikà.
Thanks to her versatility that allows her to handle and interpret diverse requests, as well as to her delicate chromatisms and ability in using watercolours, Karin has become one of the most sought-after Italian illustrators. She lives and works in Milan.
