Philip Gay
Philip was born in England but grew up between Paris and London. He became interested in photography whilst studying Film and English Literature at university in London.
Over the years Philip has shot portraits of the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow,, Isabelle Huppert, James Mcavoy, Kristin Scott Thomas, Golshifteh Farahani, Kristen Stewart, Brooke Shields, Lily Rose Depp, Hugh Grant, Lea Seydoux, Stacy Martin and Mark Ruffalo.
He has also shot numerous musicians and singers including Jane Birkin, Dua Lipa, Angèle, Vanessa Paradis, Lou Doillon, Jarvis Cocker, MGMT and New Order as well as sports stars such as world number one tennis star Jannik Sinner.
His commercial clients include the likes of Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Elisabeth Arden, Persol, Cartier, Levi’s, Zara, See By Chloé, Sephora, and Etam among others and he has shot for magazines such as i-D, Muse, Elle, GQ, Purple, Zoo, Arena Homme +, Interview Magazine and many different editions of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
Philip has also directed several music videos and in 2024 completed his first fiction film ‘Heaven To Know You’.
He is based between Paris and London.
